The Sixth China Medical Simulation Education Conference

Hosted by the China Medical Education Association and organized by its Medical Simulation Education Committee, the Sixth China Medical Simulation Education Conference was successfully held in Shijiazhuang. Taking place against the backdrop of deepening national medical talent development strategies and modern educational technology innovation, the conference aimed to further advance medical simulation education in China and foster exchange and collaboration among institutions and training bases.

I. Expert Leadership, Focusing on Cutting-Edge Developments

The conference invited renowned experts in medical simulation from across the nation to deliver a series of compelling keynote speeches centered on the theme “Empowering Simulation, Guiding the Future with Intelligence.” Drawing from multiple perspectives—including trends in medical simulation education and the application of cutting-edge technologies—the experts shared unique insights. They illuminated the developmental trajectory of medical simulation education for attendees, sparking profound reflection on the industry's future direction.

II. Workshop Practice and Experience Sharing

The conference featured carefully designed workshop sessions where representatives from institutions and training bases nationwide actively participated, sharing successful experiences in medical simulation center development, curriculum design, assessment and evaluation, and innovative research. During the simulation center development segment, some institutions showcased advanced facility layouts and functional zoning concepts. Regarding curriculum design, discussions focused on optimizing course systems by integrating practical clinical needs with teaching objectives. In the assessment and evaluation segment, participants exchanged insights on diversified and scientifically grounded evaluation methods. Innovative research showcased a series of new achievements in medical simulation education, such as the development of novel simulation teaching tools. Through hands-on demonstrations and experience exchanges, participants gained numerous practical methods and insights, effectively promoting the dissemination of knowledge and technology.

The successful convening of this conference has established a high-quality exchange platform for China's medical simulation education sector. It has effectively promoted collaboration among institutions and training bases, playing a positive role in cultivating outstanding medical professionals and advancing the development of medical simulation education in China. Looking ahead, we anticipate continuous innovation and breakthroughs in medical simulation education, yielding even more fruitful outcomes.
